Aristotle famously said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.ā€

My #28dayslater program was my personal exploration of this idea during the lockdown of 2020. I found that having no routine and structure was more draining mentally, physically, and emotionally than I could have imagined.

And so, I set myself one goal, one daily routine to focus on for the month. This allowed me to have daily structure, experience a good daily dose of achievement and explore new activities fully without the distraction of my other goals.

Over the 12 months I have completed I committed a full month to one of the following; morning mediation, internal training on my bike, 20 minute body weight workout, breathing/yoga pranayama session, journaling, sunrise swim, cold showers, handstand practice, learning a language and many more.

These daily challenges not only mean I’m set for the day and get more accomplished, but I also feel 100 times better while doing it!
